that pretty impressive i guess. though not really real. takes 30 hours to drive nonstop from chicago to LA
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
that pretty impressive i guess. though not really real. takes 30 hours to drive nonstop from chicago to LA
That's still a really big map. Especially relative to modern maps, and this is a high speed Lamborghini so they probably have like a 90 MPH average or something. Not really true to real life, still bigger than modern day maps. Still might get this if I hear better things, will be my first racing games if I do decide to pick it up.
that pretty impressive i guess. though not really real. takes 30 hours to drive nonstop from chicago to LA
I've actually done that, from North Missouri to LA actually, was the worst fucking car ride of my life.
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
It's difficult enough to do in real life; driving cross-country is a grueling experience once you run out of interesting things to look at.
Wow. That is huge.
Wow these new consoles are pretty powerful. Definitely more powerful than my PC if they can do shit like this or Battlefield 4 at 60 FPS with 64 players.
I don't think you guys understand how much space would be required to have a 1:1 scale of the entire US in a game world.
that pretty impressive i guess. though not really real. takes 30 hours to drive nonstop from chicago to LA

It's breaking my IMMERSION.

I've actually done that, from North Missouri to LA actually, was the worst fucking car ride of my life.
yeah i did the same from chicago with a few people. non stop. was pure hell but also a hell of a lot of fun [editline]13th June 2013[/editline]

It's breaking my IMMERSION.

uh ok
and here I was hoping we'd finally received a next-gen Desert Bus
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
If everything was fully modeled I sure as hell would. Not saying that sort of thing would fit this game though.
I don't mind Sessler but the dude has to drop the Wolverine chops.
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
In old old time on PS2 I spend about two week's to complete endurance missions 250~ laps on single map about 6+ hour for one map nonstop with 10,5 minutes for rest.
Ok, now I'm intrigued. This game looks good so far.

Finished up the Nurburgring 24 on GT5 last month. Took around 1 week.
If they manage to deliver, this is going to be legendary.
I love how Ubisoft had like three games where the camera pulls back to reveal that you're actually part of a large connected world. Eventually they're just gonna keep pulling back and reveal that Watch Dogs, The Division, and The Crew all take place in the same universe. [editline]13th June 2013[/editline] And it's all on one of the planets in Destiny :v:
Wonder how big it is compared to FUEL's game world.

[editline]13th June 2013[/editline]
Wonder how big it is compared to FUEL's game world.
Smaller "The size of the game's environment is the first asset that smacks players in the gob; apparently around 5,000sq km in size, The Crew's map features full open-world cities" FUEL was bigger at 5560 square miles.
Smaller "The size of the game's environment is the first asset that smacks players in the gob; apparently around 5,000sq km in size, The Crew's map features full open-world cities" FUEL was bigger at 5560 square miles.
To be fair, the vast majority of Fuels map was plain wasteland. It takes a bit more work to make something like a civilized city (especially on the scale we are seeing here) then it does to make a giant empty off road map. Edit: Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that Fuels map was a bad map, it did what it was supposed to do. I'm just saying the maps of The Crew and Fuel are on two different levels.
i told everyone in the E3 chat that this was the next burnout paradise! HOLY COW I WANT DIS GAME
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
DESERT BUS
that pretty impressive i guess. though not really real. takes 30 hours to drive nonstop from chicago to LA
Well if you go an average of 180 mph it would take 9.6 hours, and in a game like this 180 mph is normal.
Also The game is massive.
Also it gives me a huge fast n furious vibe. Having to take out bank trucks, and fight other crews. It just feels like they drew some inspiration from those movies as well.
this...is beautiful... i'm crying tears of joy, seriously...
With cloud processing etc, I wouldnt be suprised if games could get to something similar to the whole west/east coast
Ubisoft have really been picking it up in the last year or so, really glad to be seeing that
