[media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl6Yptwh_qo[/media] Various moments from RFG multiplayer available in 60fps (if you have chrome). For those who missed it, game got rid of "games for windows live" and went to steamworks, also is on Christmas sale atm if you are interested.
Are there a lot of people playing? I'd LOVE to get back into this game if it had a solid community or you knew people playing!

Ive been playing fairly often this week, it can vary depending on your timezone (sometimes it can be hard to find a matchmaking game on later hours), but Fridays and Saturdays ive been able to play in some populated Large mixer/Siege matches which were awesome. Overall it seems to be picking up from around a month ago when the steamworks was announced.
missed this group of clips, but good thing I remembered FP has webm embed via [vid] tags [vid]http://the303.org/webm/hammerx.webm[/vid] Playing entire anarchy rounds with hammer as your only weapon :v:
Here's a tip: Get some friends and play Quarantine with hammer & thrustpack only, or explosives only. It's so much fun.
I had so much fun with the multiplayer but it only lasted a few months on the 360 before being completely dead.
Oh man without a doubt one of the most fun multiplayer games i've played, I really should check them deals out The singleplayer is ultra solid too, but I remember the multiplayer the most with the genius backpacks and the fact that basically every gamemode was amazingly fun

I mean, the hammer/remote charges combo with the physics was far more fun that probably any other game weapon I could think of, even beating out supergravitygun. Taking out a building with just a sledge and running away from the carnage like you were in an action movie was pretty much the defining appeal of singleplayer: [vid]http://the303.org/webm/buildinghammer.webm[/vid] (need to give vehicles a mention too, like the walker) What pains me is how few games had this level of destruction. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 gets an honorable mention even though only certain maps had a lot of destructible buildings. Even that game was several years ago, and I still don't see any future projects that has anything that comes close to RFG; hell we are already into PS4/XB1 nextgen.
Fantastic news, GFWL never found any matches for me, the only time i played it online was with a friend.

Not all developers care about that and in fact it's pretty hard to make games centered around it if it impedes progress in any way.
Good to see that fresh footage from RFG is popping back up again, hopefully more and more people will learn about the MP revival. And as CAS said, I have, alongside some friends, created a community group with official support from the community manager over at Nordic Games. We try to host games every saturday, we're also doing a event on New Years Eve where we will gather and just play untill 2015 starts. BTW, CAS, feel free to hit me up on STEAM.
