The're no denying that he's charismatic as fuck, but that's the same charisma he used to coerce a huge number of people to vote leave by telling them lies and half truths.
I've always liked Farage in the sense that he's somewhat of a political oddity in the EU parlament, and from time to time he brings up truly valid points, but the way he did it in this particular case made him look like a tool.
I don't think that pissing all over your former colleages and trying to make them flash white with rage is the wisest thing to do when you still haven't even started the procedure to leave and you have yet to negotiate all those trade deals, messing everything up for everyone, even if in the future more moderate brexiters took the wheel.
I'd be really curious to see what would happen if parliaments were held to the same basic standards as students in high or middle school. No jeering or clapping, no talking or murmuring when it's not your turn to speak, don't interrupt one another, stick to the point, show respect (don't personally attack anybody), attend every session. If you wanna clown around, you can do it outside. Keep doing it, and you'll stay outside.
This lack of discipline (that's so basic it shouldn't even be worth calling discipline) seems to be the rule more often than the exception. Every time I've tuned into a random parliament session over here it's frequently just been cliques competing for who can land the most hyperbolic zingers and pettiest gotchas and general mudslings.

It's charisma that works because his ideas are populist and he shouts them with his nationalistic stance. It sucks to call that charisma.
