Hey everyone! I was going to post this on Threadless.com (a shirt company of course) to possibly get submitted as a design (in which they print your shirt and give you $2000 + a $500 gift certificate) for their line up, but I wanted to post it here for some criticism.
First and foremost, it's mainly a female design, although guys could wear it too (if they wanted).
I meant for it to be neat and clean, but any suggestions are welcome.

If there is a limit to color, than wouldn't that glowing heart have a lot of colors for the glow?

That's another good question! There was a little something saying they could do it with a certain technique if they have the base color, but I don't think that works on small areas like I have.
And besides, I was thinking about taking the glow out. I thought it looked better earlier, but now it seems to just add more mess and less clarity.

So by male version, a different color scheme? Because, if so, they allow for different color configurations, just it has to be the same design (they actually score you better if you do that :D )

Oh! Quick update as well. I tried doing something to give the shirt a more 'completed' look, so I tried putting the hearts in to minimize into the neckline.
I also got rid of the outer glow, as the gradients aren't able to print :C

This is basically my second version of the critique, and a third is on the way. The only bad thing would have to be how the balloon is not as noticeable now.
I have an idea to make it kinda like a Hansel and Gretel type things and making them kind trail off behind the robot, as if he's on a quest to give/find love (got that from one of the critics, although that's what my original thought was at the start :D).
Any thoughts on this?
I'm kinda pissed though, because Photoshop is a bitch to export back into Illustrator to use a 3D effect to make them look like they're on the ground. Oh well, I learn something every day, lol
The balloon didn't need the glow anyway, but do you have enough colors left to make it something that will stand out? Anyway, I think I like the trailing effect, but I'd have to see it on a person to really tell. Good luck on Threadless.com

I was going to use the idea with the hearts looking like footprints, but it became too cluttered and looked a little quirky. So, I went with this design (cleaned it up, made balloon show a bit more)

Usually, voting takes a full week, so by Monday, we shall know if it was voted in to be printed!
Right now, it's being 'approved' to be put into the voting stage. This is so no one spams a bunch of crap, usually takes a little while.
I really dislike the trailing hearts. In my opinion it clutters the shirt and makes it look messy.

I agree... except I think for the complete look you could have the hearts as like a sort of bubble effect... so like a bigger one trailing off... then a smaller... then 2 really small... not up to the neck 'cause although the design is nice, it makes it look kind of... cluttered.
It is really up to you... whatever you can look at and be proud of
I don't know if you can or not 'cause of your limit, but i think it would really add a lot to the design if the hearts fade lighter as they recede into the background.. just a tint of white each time u move back a it would suffice.

I think it looks good, but maybe a little too sparse?
I do agree though, the design seems just a bit too cluttered, so I'm gonna see if I can possibly take the submission down and post it back up refined. It still hasn't been approved yet though, hmmm
