That day might come, but I don't think the music of that time will be any better at all.
The reason the music of the 60's and 70's were so great was because people tried new things on all of their albums, whether it be breaking from the pop scene of the time or using different effects for their instruments.
Todays music is the same formula again and again. This stupid rap and pop bullshit is the anthesis of music.
You can't compare The Beatles to The Who, or Rush to REO Speedwagon, but the similarities between every artist today is appaling.
