Dear God, yes. This trilogy was a huge pleasant surprise for me, and some of the best point-and-click games I ever played. Genuinely funny and surprisingly emotional at parts, not to mention excellent hand-drawn art and pretty damn good voice acting too. Never could I have thought a game could make me care so much for a character who started out as such an utter douchebag. After the third game ended on a rather depressing note and the creator said that the story was definitely done, I'm so happy to see this. Looks like they upped the animation quality, too.
But more importantly, [sp]Rufus lives![/sp]
And March 1st is my birthday, too. What a treat.
How good are the english translations of this game? I'm asking because there are quite a few jokes which are kinda hard to translate to english.

You crazy Germans and your crazy humor always crack me up!

Pretty damn good, actually. The VA for the English translations are spot-on, and I've always had a soft spot for Goal's VA.

For the most part, I couldn't even tell the game wasn't originally English.
That said, there's a point where you examine an object in the hotel act in Goodbye where Rufus outright states, "There was a really funny joke here in the original German version of the game, but it got lost in translation." Voiced and everything. For anti-humor effect, I guess.
Almost nobody saw this coming which makes the surprise all the sweeter, but admittedly the ending of the 3rd game really hurt.

Wait, did they actually get Solid Rufus to be voiced by David Hayter? Sounds just like him.

That is unmistakably David's Snake voice.

It looks like it indeed is David Hayter.
Mark Estdale, Voice Director of OMUK had this to say about the game’s recording sessions “The cast turned up grinning for their sessions and left laughing. And having David Hayter bring some Solid Snake magic to a stunning cast that draws from so many favourites is truly magical. They come from Bond to the Bourne Ultimatum, Star Wars to Dr Who, Red Dwarf to Judge Dredd, Mission Impossible to Captain America, Leon the Pig Farmer to Little Britain! The list goes on and on and and gets funnier and funnier but it is one that, for me, connects to the legend of Deponia, making it something very special.”
"just like climate change!" :v:
Oh Rufus, we've missed you!
I just realized that the music for the second trailer is a orchestrated version of the "huzzah" song before each chapter in the original trilogy.
EDIT: Found another trailer that was actually released between those other two, with Goal narrating the broad outline of the original trilogy and setting up the lead-in for Doomsday: what would we have changed about that ending?

As that would imply, massive spoilers for the ending of the trilogy in the video.
