Borderlands 2 : The Looter's Guide - Maliwan Weaponry - General

Hey guys, If you want to learn more about the weapon companies in Borderlands 2, this series is designed just for you. In this episode, Maliwan is being covered. We all know Maliwan makes only elemental weapons, but what else sets them apart? Check this video to find out! I've used Maliwan guns before, stat-wise, they're okay. But I really don't like the aesthetic design of them.

Great as always. Have you thought about doing other stuff not related to Borderlands 2? I think you've really got the voice over/editing process down and could easily branch out into doing other things.

Borderlands 2 is definitely going to lose popularity at some point anyways. I plan to upload Dishonored videos, as well as Planetside 2, and .... yes.. Black ops 2 (I know that a lot of people hate that game here haha) If I can come up with ideas for guides on Dishonored, i'll be making those, but i'm not sure what. Maybe the skills I can review? Those wouldn't be very long videos however. I also made Weapon Guides for MW3 and plan to continue that in Black ops 2, so if you like the guides, I generally use similar formulas for each. I really tried to make up for my last looters guide with this one, what do you guys think? (In comparison with Jakobs)

You almost sound like you're attempting to sell the guns themselves. Which in my opinion is pretty sweet.

Given some minor examples they've shown already, Dishonored is gonna have some really creative ways to use powers etc.

So they're both pretty good. Also, may I ask how did you get that much money in the Jakobs one?

Man i found a pink Maliwan Launcher last night. It does an insane amout of shock damage, and if i hit one enemy, it creates a shock bubble around them, and any other enemy on screen. Love it. Killed Wilhelm in 2 rockets.

You defenitely have the voice to be a good youtube guide...maker...thingy. Keep your future videos like this, and I am sure you will be very popular in no time.

I really enjoy making these types of videos from time to time, in a way it allows me to dump my creativity into one project, and I feel that the last 2 guides didn't show that as much. With this one I took my time, so I think that was a huge part in what made it better. Also a lot of you guys that critiqued my last guide said it was too long and repetitive, so by shortening it by roughly 4 minutes, I feel it solved that quite nicely. Do you guys prefer the short versions over the longer, slightly more in-depth versions? I'm sure its also more accessible for those who don't have the time now :)

Okay, I just wrote a comment on your video, and I'll stick by my point. Cover some of the legendaries and uniques of the manufacturers. For Maliwan, I would've AT LEAST told about Moxxi's guns and the Volcano, Hellfire, Pyrophobia and well, the Firehawk Shield, the first legendary you'll get in the game. Plus, as my other comment said, try to come up with scenarios where each manufacturer would be the best one to choose during each video. Like, for this one, I'd heavily recommend telling about how Cataclysm Sirens could benefit a TON from having Maliwan weaponry, and how due to the DoT they inflict, you wouldn't necessarily have to keep hitting the enemies to get second winds easily. [editline]o[/editline] Other than that, good video, you could just try to angle your "guide" a bit more differently, to make it more "guidey". You kinda didn't tell anything that anyone wouldn't find out simply by picking up and Maliwan weapon and shooting an enemy with it. Plus, some of the info was downright wrong, as I have never seen non E-tech weapons by Maliwan that consume 2 ammo each that weren't pistols.

Do Tediore next. How instead of reloading you throw it like a good nade is cool.

I just found zondac127.3 or zondac_12 haha. Maybe you could help me improve my guides before they get released. Also, as for the 2 ammo per shot thing, I couldn't find stats DISPROVING that possibility, so I try to keep my videos open ended, Just because you haven't encountered an SMG shooting more than 1 bullet a shot doesn't mean that it could appear out of the millions of options. That's not a common trait.
