Some friends and i tried to organise some tickets for this presuming it was going to get released here at the same time everywhere else, instead we find no one knows anything about that's happening.
The short:
-Hasn't been classified so it can't legally be screened.
-Cinemas know nothing
-Distributer is tight lipped

SF thought "it wouldn't bring enough income" because the first movie was only seen 14,000 times on cinema. But still they show worthless movies people don't care about.

I didn't realize it was close to release, I just checked and the first showing locally in my town is in a bit over two hours.

Saints Row was for drugs, not sex. There's a mission in the game where you take some weird alien drugs for a powerup or something and the ratings board says you can't have purely positive depictions of any drugs in video games because it might make kids do real drugs.

My favourite was when they banned Hotline Miami 2 because it has a sexual assault scene which I can literally watch on YouTube. Fortunately, the developers are cool and said they were fine with Australians pirating the game because it's the only way for us to play it.

Not even a sexual assault scene, a scene of two consenting actors on a film set simulating a sexual assault scene. All you even see is a top-down view of a guy vaguely thrusting on top of a girl.

It's only going to get awful quality cam rips or maybe a terrible dvd screener. It won't take more than a week or two tops.
