oh god when i read the title i imagined it as unfaithful partners getting killed on cam jesus
That motorcyclist at the beginning is a fucking idiot. Going that fast in what appears to be a school zone? Even if it isn't a school zone, he's going too fast near zebra crossings, it's against the law in Britain to drive over a zebra crossing if there are pedestrians waiting to cross. You can't blame the girl (even though what she did was dumb) for assuming drivers would stop for her.

Idiotic decisions are what caused most of these situations.
The two people sticking their heads out of the train window instantly reminded me of this:

Some people in this video are so careless and dumb it hurts to think people living their daily lives die because of other's decisions(like driving fast in snow or rain)
Something similar happened to me, was crossing the road at night in a curve, and was slightly behind my buddies, with other people on the opposite side waiting for us. We could see a car coming and thought it would've slowed down. It didnt.
long story short I had to jump out of the way and I got told it missed me for an inch, and they thought I would've been hit. The fucker didn't even steer to avoid me.
It was a truly scary experience, to this day feel very very anxious when I drive a car. And whenever I have the option not to, I don't.
Never fucking cross a road when a car is blocking your view. I never had close calls but I know how dangerous it is.

p sure that's america from the style of the crossings and the motorcyclist had right of way
Heh, how ironic it is for those two people to almost get run over by an ambulance. It's like GTA with the ambulances running people over. :v:
You've really got to be in good shape and form to cross a road in Russia without dying.

There's a law here that if another car has stopped infront of a pedestrian crossing, you have to stop next to it too, so you don't hit people the other car is letting to get across.
This law is NEVER obeyed and I think almost all of my friends have been hit by a car that just drove into them in that situation. At that point they usually remember the law and get super apologetic to avoid any trouble.
My friends girlfriend even flew into a windshield when a car drove into her while she was walking across a pedestrian crossing with her bike. She didn't get a scratch from it somehow but boy did she rage at the driver for breaking her new bike.
I just kind of lean over the car in those situations and had some close calls when a car zoomed past centimeters from my head.
I thought it was common knowledge to look both ways before you cross a road?

Its some of those things you really shouldnt forget to do. What a way to go.

well you have to take into consideration ambulances have to go fast to save other people's lives. and most pedestrians cross the roads whenever they don't see a car coming instead of waiting for their turn.
I'm glad the other firefighter came to the others rescue, that shows some class between that side of work. You'll always have other people that work with you, looking out for you.

Holy fucking hell
Yeah that must have been scary as fuck, but oh god did i laugh.
How did the guy at the end not end up dead.
Wow, people sure arent that smart. Run across the road even if you cant see if the cars are coming. Its okay! A car will never you hit right?.... Right?
how come every time you watch videos about bad motor accidents, a majority of them take place in Russia?
[editline]15th March 2014[/editline]
how can they invade ukraine if everybody drives so bad
That one with the photographer and the racing car, damn.

A lot of russians have dashcams, that's probably the reason.

I don't think the people in Russia drive any worse than the people anywhere else.
The difference is in the amount of dashcams they use. Russians have to use them as a countermeasure to scam attempts.
That one with the boulder, man.
I nearly shat my pants just watching that.
Holy shit the plane one fuuuck
aaaaaah
What the hell happens at 6:40?
bulletproof glass stopping a sniper shell
Man, all that footage of cars on snow/ice slipping and sliding allover the road scare the hell out of me. Shit like that has happened to me on several occasions in the past few months, and it's not pleasant.
I always drive slow (~20 MPH) on conditions like that, but even that's enough to suddenly spin out and lose control of your car. First time something like that ever happened to me, I was coming up to an intersection to make a right turn. There was another car already there stopped and waiting for the light to turn green to go straight.
I'm not sure about anywhere else, but it's kind of a common courtesy here in America to leave enough room to the right of your vehicle at an intersection with no right turn lane to allow people who want to turn right to squeeze by you and make their turn, since you can turn right on red. The guy up at the intersection I was approaching had done just that, and holy shit the two of us were so lucky he did.
As I applied my brakes to slow down, they locked up and my car began spinning out and sliding allover the road. I don't know what the hell happened to me, but I guess I was a Formula 1 racer in a past life because some radical instincts kicked in and I managed to come to a clean, full stop right next to the guy. I had missed him by barely an inch.
Don't you mean sniper bullet? Anyway, even though I knew no was actually going to die I kept gasping in fear, especially with the dash cam ones. I haven't been driving for a very long time and one of the greatest fears is that someone on the road I'm sharing decides that they're in Russia.
