Indonesian warships, including torpedo and missile craft, have been moved to its border with Australia following Australia's admission last week that some of its vessels had inadvertently entered Indonesian waters.

Indonesia is also beefing up its defence forces, with one MP naming Australia as the country's greatest threat.
A restructure of Indonesia’s forces aims to deploy troops faster and to acquire long-range weapons.
“The plan will integrate the regional resources of the army, the navy and the air force into multi-service groups that will be positioned in certain defence flashpoints integral to preserving the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the Jakarta Post said.

The mobilisation of the Indonesian navy comes as asylum seekers say they suffered burns to their hands in an Australian towback operation to Indonesia.
Indonesia's big fuck you.
Oops fixed the image.
There's no doubt that it was an accident.
What possible reason could Australia have for wanting to mess with Indonesia, of all places? Absolutely none.
I feel like Indonesia is overreacting.
Just a little.
The US is deploying a carrier strike group in response. This is clearly an act of terrorism.

We're sending their convicts back to them.
Did the Indonesian leaders not see the word 'inadvertent' in the admission or something? Not that it matters much, if they want to try to provoke Australia they'll be provoking us as well, and that's just not a good idea.

You say that, but at the same time our government has decided it doesn't want refugees any more, and is forcing them on Indonesia by towing/escorting their boats back with navy warships.
The irony being Indonesia doesn't want them either, but our government says their government has no say in that.
We're offloading refugees (Human rights violation) to poorer countries and Indonesia has had enough of our shit I guess.
lol nobody is intimidated by indonesia

Don't worry Indonesia. If the Australian empire begins expanding, New Zealand will be the first to go.

haha, what
Abbott needs to resolve this properly (without any loss of life and cooperative diplomacy with Indonesia) or his government will fall.

I'm pretty sure the majority of Australians already hate Abbott.
It was probably Russia.
As far as I know, Indonesia isn't doing shit about the refugee problem and just turning a blind eye (do they even have patrols of there own looking for theses boats?) Australia is fed up and just sending them back, so now Indonesia is getting worked up about it and just playing it for something else.
However I certainly agree that sending them back or offloading them somewhere else is not the solution, far from it as the few that truly need it are getting shafted by those who are just trying to sneak there way in.
I'm probably wrong though.
AWW YE CUNTS COME AT US INDONESIA
WE'LL UNLEASH THE WILDLIFE ON YAS
In simple words. Abbott is a fucking drop kick of a cunt and I hope he gets god damn destroyed in the next Federal elections.
Fucken bring it indonesia you have no idea what the spiders are like here.

Neither country wants the asylum seekers, and it looks like they are ready to start a war over it.

Jesus fucking christ, the way the Abbott government is handling the asylum seekers issue (which shouldn't even be an issue yet the government is treating it like a war) is just ridiculous. I would not be surprised if this issue escalates further. And if it does, I really hope that the Governor-General sacks Abbott.
I never understood how the fuck modern navies accidentally enter the wrong waters so frequently.
Billion-dollar destroyers with cruise missiles and state-of-the-art navigation tech, manned by a few hundred men and they still manage to go the wrong way.

Show of power (as stupid as that may be).

It's not definitely contested boundaries, as Australia admitted they breached Indonesian waters. Human error/show of power?
