Oh wow, those hit indicators are abysmal. I'll give this 10 years before we have a finished product.
It looks really bad at this stage IMO
The visuals and graphics are not so good, the weapons and their animations look horrible, the buildings are empty just as the warz, and well it just doesn't look that good so far... I actually considered buying it a few months ago but its a bit expensive for what it is. They should have just used a pre made engine or something because what they are using now is shit. The world just looks so empty... I remember what they were promising, and its nothing like that so far. I have to give them credit for the barricading and such though because that's really good.
The barricading and everything looks really good and that can only be improved. The zombie animations for when they were crawling through the window weren't TOO bad, but they weren't spot on, either. But, I'm forgetting this IS an Alpha, so, we shouldn't expect much. Just in no shape for me to pre-order.
"enjoy the view survivors, it's getting really good" what
hahahah "enjoy the view survivors, it's getting really good"
Oh wow, fall damage!
oh you motherfucker
Keep in mind that this is an Alpha, and the world is randomly generated, which mean it really hard to make it very alive. I think the graphics are fine, sure they need to work on animation, but this can be done in a later stage.
The game seems way too early to be showing off, let alone letting people play it. Though it does seem to be coming along kinda nicely, the barricading and building looks really cool. Also, if you're making a video that is supposed to show the game off well, is it really that hard to make sure most of your footage isn't running at like 15 fps?
This COULD be very good, but I really want them to polish it a bit more and just focus on getting a decent build out instead of focusing on new content. They could make good cash if they polished a part of it and then just build from there.
I played this like two builds ago it was shite, i played it now and its semi-bad, so in a bout 6 or so months it could become 'ok'
I've been keeping an eye on this kinda, it looks like a great concept. Obviously it is testing builds but it should be good to go once they get the ground work done.
Before you write it off, remember it is build 0.09, not even 0.1 yet
how long has this been in development? i feel like progress should really be faster if they expect people to support them... not even trying to shit on them or anything
I really like the idea of it, especially the barricade building aspect, but it is hideous right now.
He's very optimistic about his project, but his enthusiasm should be contained from being released as a video for a build showing off, almost nothing. I say for a base it isn't horrible.
as of right now it's shit, but once all the points shown so far are refined, it might be half decent
the tree breaking into wood like that looks hilarious i mean minecraft is one thing but LOL
Games looks pretty awful when they're at their beginning stages, doesn't seem like a good idea to be showing it off so early
I like the barricading and the door mechanics, but the game needs a lot more work. Hit-boxes seems to be really weird too, for example, his scope is off when he heads-hots the zombie and it kills it.
seems pretty crappy given how shit his framerate is I mean sure there's always optimisation, but you'd hope it'd be loads better given how eh the graphics are also is it always going to be completely fullbright?
To be fair, it isn't looking that bad from a game being produced by a team of 10 people. With less then all of them being full time. Furthermore, they've made it from scratch in a year and 6 months. Not to shabby, but it's a long way from being finished.
