Okay so I'm going to Scotland with my friend in two days. It might not seem the best season of the year to go there, but we're staying for a few years so that doesn't matter. So, anything you can tell me about this country? Do they hate italians? What's it like? I have never been there but I've been to England, what are the major differences? Any info would help. I'm just trying to have an idea of what to expect when I get there. Thanks!
They hate everyone, what part of Scotland are you going to?
Dundee. That's odd. People say they are quite friendly.

Pretty much the same as England, except the accents.
I live in dundee, it's great for students and young people

If you have a chance to go to Edinburgh you should, it's only a Scotrail train away.

Be careful of chavs. They're everywhere mostly at night though.
Good time of year to go ice climbing in the cairngorms, if you get the opportunity I highly recommend it.

If you bring along a military cap of Victorian style, don't mention it. Unless you want every Scottish and their moms to offer you metal for it.
Wear a kilt, everyone in scotland loves kilts.
Be careful of chavs. They're everywhere mostly at night though.
They're called Neds in Scotland
Wear a kilt, everyone in scotland loves kilts.
yes, I am planning to buy one.
Kilts are one of those weird things where we love to see foreigners wearing them
Kilts are one of those weird things where we love to see foreigners wearing them
I want to wear one on a friday night and in a club. To see what it's like.
as long as everyone understands you're italian it will be cool
... Encouragingly, we did also find some evidence of the penetrance of the Mediterranean diet into Scotland, albeit in the form of deep-fried pizza.
You should be fine, OP
as long as everyone understands you're italian it will be cool
i look kind of british though. If you saw me in the street you wouldn't think i was italian until i spoke.
its embarassing how facepunchers actually take stereotypes at face value
