i'll be honest, that was pretty dull and predictive.
feminism, brought to you by Pantene!
Also, a man caring about his looks wouldn't be labeled as neat, he would usually be labeled as "gay"
truly groundbreaking advertising will buy pantene forever

It totally was... but it was still nice IMO
Depends "how" he cares about his looks, the dude in the vid would be considered handsome and would receive mostly positive reactions.
Of course, I over-exaggerated it a bit, but this commercial is so black and white that it hurts.
Although, it's a genius commercial since it tries to hide it being just a shampoo commercial by dressing it over as a womens rights campaign.
"There's a law in Russia against LGBT people, and will be forced during the olympics! Everyone must go together to fight it, smash Putins iron regime!! WHILE, you drive around in the new BMW sedan with heated seats and aluminium rims"
"Society hates you and constantly judges you! Oh - but you shouldn't care about labels. Buy our hair crap."

"It works too, we've already tested it on animals!"

Holy crap, they found out that there is a negative and a positive word for almost any character trait. I'm so glad they are talking about this, we need to discuss the ability of language to describe bad traits and censor it. Maybe if we had a language that only had words for approved thoughts? We would have an entirely new way to speak. Newspeak if you will.
Sorry, had to mute the video.
I love the song, but the cover is shit
'Fight the label of woman being show offs by having incredibly noticeable shining hair!'
I've never once looked at a girl on a computer and thought "Selfish".
Or looked at a girl dressed up and thought "show off"
Or looked at a girl getting ready for the day in the bathroom and thought "vain"
these lables are fucking stupid.

Yeah I don't see a man dressed like that and think 'smooth', I think 'complete cunt'
Whats that advert with the music "You're amazing! juuust the waaay you are!" for like a perfume or beauty product? Yeah baby, you are amazing, but you fucking stink, so wear our new fragrance.
Yeah because bossy, pushy and selfish dudes aren't a thing right?
the first two examples were pretty spot on but the rest felt like they were sort of scraping the barrel tbh
Can anyone remember that awful advert on in Britain a few months ago with some sportsman at a sink saying "LADIES! Why so many things? Us men have just one man thing because we men ug og". That was awful.
Is this vid really trying to make it look like that when a character trait can be perceived both as something negative or something positive, people will apply only the negatives to women and only the positives to men?

Maybe for normal people not everything is a gender issue...
This is bullshit.
There goes Max again :v:
what a shitty pretentious video

This. So much this.
Feminism is a business now, this is a perfect example of that.
I don't understand the Determined|Selfish Neat|Vain Smooth|Show off I've never heard of these used against women; probably because i don't watch the E! channel.
I also don't know why Feminism and Men's rights are suddenly showing up a lot more creating a lot of internet "fights"
Also does anyone else find it ironic that it's a commercial for a hair product?
pfffff hahaha
