I don't know about you guys, but down here in Singapore, We treat Caucasian people like kings and Queens. I'm not Caucasian, but I hate it how they get treated so fucking nicely while Asian tourist get treated like crap. Its true, because I witnessed it.
Recently, I was out walking, and going around shopping malls. I happened to pass by the information counter, and there's 2 people, 1 Indonesian/Filipino/Malaysian tourist (I think) and 1 Caucasian tourist(from the language, he seems like he's from Europe)
The first tourist walks up to the information counter, but the guy behind the desk says he's busy. But after that, he helped the Caucasian tourist, then followed by the Indonesian/Filipino/Malaysian tourist. It didn't only happened only once, but several times, at different locations. Seems like Asian people still feel that Caucasian people are still superior.
Any of you had such experience?

I dunno, but nowadays everyone in Singapore thinks so. No experience here. Where were you anyway, City Hall?
Maybe the people at the tourist centre are trying to make a good impression on people from western countries to create a positive image for their country and hopefully up tourism from them? Western people tend to have more money and are more willing to frivolously spend it.

Also, just because we have a few people who are horrible at customer service doesn't mean most of them will treat Caucasians like kings and queens. Just need to deal with this occasionally.

No, but for this incident, I saw it at Orchard road. I saw others at Zoo and etc.
Because it's so easy to pick them out as tourists.

I've been to Singapore many times and I never witnessed something like this
They stand out as tourists more than asian people.
All you need to do is to walk around all the high end retailers around Orchard Road like the Rolex or Vertu stores and you'll see all of their customers are mostly Europeans/Americans. It makes sense to them to treat the average commoner worse than the high rolling Caucasians if you want more business out of it.
Being in the Air Force we have some bases overseas like korea and japan and it's like they are amazed that there are white people there. Apparently blonde ones are even more special.
