A ferocious blast of bitterly cold air straight from Siberia was set to roar through the eastern and southern USA, dropping temperatures to historically low readings as far south as Florida. "This could be some of the coldest weather since the mid-1990s for parts of the Southeast U.S., Mid-Atlantic and central Appalachians," said meteorologist David Hambrick of the National Weather Service. Floridians will even experience a taste of the arctic chill, with temperatures dipping to the lower 30s in cities such as Orlando, Melbourne and Daytona Beach, according to AccuWeather.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2015/02/18/record-cold-sweeps-nation/23605335/
Clearly, this is the work of Russian weather control devices.
my uni got off for pretty much the entire week due to snow and cold, which has never happened before
I fucking knew it. I knew it was colder than normal.
Its tolerable when the wind isnt blowing. Then it blows 30-40mph gusts and my skin feelslike its peeling off and suddenly i have a vagina cuz my balls retract in my body. Asheville, NC sucks sometimes.
my uni got off for pretty much the entire week due to snow and cold, which has never happened before
The only time my university has cancelled classes was during the 80's when the ice became 5 to 9 inches thick on the roads and sidewalks. That's the only fucking time in Northern New York they cancelled classes.
The other day my friends and I were like "This is so warm, let's walk to the gym instead of driving" because it was 13 degrees out instead of -10. If it were 40 out tomorrow I don't think I would even wear a jacket.
It's been pretty normal as of late. Maybe it'll get colder around here.
75 and sunny on the west coast
See? global warming doesn't exist!
Well looks like I'm going to have fun at work tonight. Hope I don't get frostbite.
Haha my uncle who always brags about the warm weather in Florida is going to have colder weather than we'll have here in Massachusetts. Can't wait to hear from him.

I was so pissed to see it was -6 F this morning. There's nothing worse than bundling up to stay warm and then having to get on a packed subway and start sweating because of all the body heat.
2 degrees here right now in Kentucky, high of 8 today. It's really not too bad, I've been digging my car out of the snow all day. 2013's winter was way colder.
See? global warming doesn't exist!
Also world hunger doesn't exist because I ate today :v:
my uni got off for pretty much the entire week due to snow and cold, which has never happened before
Mine just rubbed it in our face and told us to protect our lungs by wearing scarfs. While a whole lotta Indiana schools got off or ended early.
Well that would explain why the only source of running water in my house is my washing machine. Damn frozen pipes, and they're not thawing anytime soon either.
So what's the score right now? 8 feet of snow in New England, the mid-east is frozen, Florida is below freezing... God bless America
2 degrees here right now in Kentucky, high of 8 today. It's really not too bad, I've been digging my car out of the snow all day. 2013's winter was way colder.
I got 12 inches of snow in lexington. was awful
I have to bike to school in this weather. :/
Clearly, this is the work of Russian weather control devices.
Jokes on them, it's only helping us prepare our troops for the Endsieg.
I work at a bowling alley and even though I still have to go, it'll most likely be a slow-ass day... Which is also bad for me because I work off tips.
Well that would explain why the only source of running water in my house is my washing machine. Damn frozen pipes, and they're not thawing anytime soon either.
Check the weather in the Winters and keep one of your faucets running slightly when it's cold enough to freeze. We have to do that, helps avoid both having no water and having a pipe bust.
I heard from someone it was snowing in central florida. Kinda want to make a roadtrip this weekend from south florida since my gf has never seen snow before. [editline]19th February 2015[/editline] water parks!
Help us.
We reached a low of 28 today in central Florida. It was weird, don't remember the last time it was this cold. When I went to NY in November, temps were around 30-40 and so for it to be the same temperature in Florida felt strange :v:
I'm fending off hordes of Siberian wolves in a frozen ship that I was looting for supplies send help
Tomorrow morning is going to suck even more. I just want to have a clean car again.
