In the US, they wouldn't have even surrounded the car. They would have stepped out of their vehicles and emptied 2-3 magazines into the vehicle and called it a job well done.

more like they would box the car in after the chase and yank the fucker out after smashing the window. thats literally how 90% of police chases end like.
Police weren't trained adequately for this situation. And this is I think only the second or third time I've ever heard about police shooting, it's usually pretty national news.
It usually goes like this: they catch one guy and then they catch the others via that one guy.

It's the situation. We don't train enough with an uncooperative suspect. We assume too much that when someone has gun pointed at them they'll do as they're told.
Say what you will, but I still like the Dutch Police uniforms.

Yeah I don't think it's too bad of a mistake, one guy immediately jumped into the van to chase the guy driving away and the other two were busy getting the other guy in custody, it was just 4 cops with one van, and one of the cops took off with it

I haven't exactly looked at how our cops do, so I can't really say if they're generally good or not
