I heard this kind of music on youtube a few weeks ago where it has no words, and the music is composed of different synths that sound like they could be from a Super Mario Brothers game or any old NES game. The music isn't techno with any hard bass or anything, but it is fast and sounds like a polyphonic ringtone or something. If anybody can name any bands that fit this catagory that would be helpful.
I believe that the genre you're looking for would be 'Chiptune'. Some artists from this genre include YMCK, dubmood, Firebrand Boy, I Fight Dragons, and PDF Format.
