Half-Life. It has a ton of awesome mods and is exactly the same game bar some (trivial) water/physics effects.

I haven't played a PUG game of CS in years now. Last I played was with some co-workers maybe a month+ ago. Before that I hadn't played CS since probably my ... Junior or Senior year of college (2-3 years ago now).
