With polls pointing to the likelihood of a Clinton win, her transition team is hiring staff, culling through the resumés of possible Cabinet nominees and reaching out to key Democrats for input, according to people familiar with the process. The heightened activity signals a strategic shift for the Clinton team, which had until recently kept a low profile amid fears that the campaign might be accused of overconfidence. The team's goal is to develop short lists of candidates for the most important administration positions so that top Clinton officials can move forward with nomination announcements quickly after Election Day. Word of Barack Obama's first nominations began leaking within weeks of him being elected.

mmmmm I dunno if possible is the word try definite
Definite does apply well with rigged :smug:
Didn't Mitt Romney's transition website go live for a few minutes on election night 2012? Was pretty funny
mmmmm I dunno if possible is the word try definite
It's never too late for Giant Meteor.
Definite does apply well with rigged :smug:
Don't need to rig it when your opponent is the most unpopular candidate historically.

Reince Preibus has been sending out automated emails regarding suggestions for Trump's cabinet too. It's a little silly.
[thumb]http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/romney-website.jpg[/thumb] oof
Poor fella. I feel bad for him, even if he is a bit of a sellout.
Eh, I think it's good that they are planning ahead. Imagine how dumb it would be to wait for the results before forming a plan, only to win and be left to scrabble about trying to put one together at the last minute.
Reince Preibus has been sending out automated emails regarding suggestions for Trump's cabinet too. It's a little silly. Poor fella. I feel bad for him, even if he is a bit of a sellout.
If he ran this election he would have won in a landslide
mmmmm I dunno if possible is the word try definite
it's pretty unlikely but there's still a chance trump could win. i don't want him to but with all the shit that's happened this year i'm not ready to say there's no way this won't end in disaster
[thumb]http://www.theblaze.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/romney-website.jpg[/thumb] oof
God I wish Mitt Romney was an option this election... Giant Meteor please save us from this hell.
If he ran this election he would have won in a landslide
Trump - as awful as he is - is basically a gift to Democrats If Hillary had gone up against anyone else it would have been substantially more competitive. Kasich would've creamed her and Cruz would've been a fight.
God I wish Mitt Romney was an option this election... Giant Meteor please save us from this hell.
Hell no. As bad as Hillary is, Mitt "Corporations are people, my friend" Romney can fuck right off.
In the words of WikiLeaks.... But yeah, never too late for Giant Meteor 2016! btw, pied piper comes from https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/1120 in the attachment. They purposely used their influence to push for Trump to be the Republican nominee.
Hell no. As bad as Hillary is, Mitt "Corporations are people, my friend" Romney can fuck right off.
I'd take just about any one of our previous candidates over Hillary or Trump. The only reason Hillary has a chance is because the GOP actually nominated someone worse than her. [editline]21st October 2016[/editline]
In the words of WikiLeaks....
It's never too late for Giant Meteor.
Regrettably, Giant Meteor has dropped out of the race citing that he was not born in the US
Trump - as awful as he is - is basically a gift to Democrats If Hillary had gone up against anyone else it would have been substantially more competitive. Make Obama Secretary of State

They purposely used their influence to push for Trump to be the Republican nominee.
This is still kinda weak. The attachment proves that they wanted the non-establishment candidates to get attention and derail the ones that had a chance at winning the election. It doesn't discuss any kind of shady method of going about this at all.
Also from the sounds of it Clinton isn't removing all of barack's staff like Bush the senior did to Reagan's staff. Which is good.

18 more days until we get a glimpse at the end of this shit show.
I hope she actually does consider Obama for some sort of office position, including supreme court justice.
I hope she actually does consider Obama for some sort of office position, including supreme court justice.
The republicans would never accept him to that position.

[editline]22nd October 2016[/editline]
I hope she actually does consider Obama for some sort of office position, including supreme court justice.
Much as I respect and appreciate Obama, he doesn't really seem qualified for that position. SC justices usually have extensive judicial backgrounds, and Obama really doesn't. Going to law school ain't quite the same as a lifetime adjudicating in actual courts.

But to be fair to him, he used to be the senior lecturer for constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School.
