This thread is just here to post your past experiences, Headlining rumours, Up and Coming festivals that you're looking forward to, a dream line up, and any advice you might have for all the little festival virgins out there...

I want to go to the Hove festival this year because it's been really fun the last couple of times and there's always some great bands there, but so far only shit or mediocre music has been announced, and only [i]one[/i] metal band.
There is a thread consisting of concert and live performances.... Wouldn't this be better in there?

Going to Reading again this year for like the 4th time in a row now, hopefully the line-up will be more like 2008 rather than the last two years.
I went to Soundwave festival yesterday, was fantastic. I got to see Primus, Slayer, The Gaslight Anthem and IRON MADIEN! I found a couple of new bands to listen to too, and just got to chill with my friends during breaks. The crowd for the most part where really friendly and helped everyone. Overall, a brilliant day
Meh, only festival I'm considering is bloodstock, and I'll likely have more exam resits for then.
Considering Bloodstock or Sonisphere. Later Lineups will decide my decision I guess. Honestly I'm kind of leaning towards Sonisphere now, although both looks pretty sweet.
Nah I think Soni will be shit, they have a few decent bands like mastodon, gojira, periphery, arch enemy, volbeat and megadeth, but apart from the last most of those bands will get like 45 minutes to an hour tops.
Besides, rumoured that gojira might be hitting bloodstock again.
Already got my ticket for sonisphere this year seeing as it was so good last year.

And if Gojira come to Bloodstock that'll likely secure my ticket for there, but we'll see :v:
Comepletely never gonna happen but if cloudkicker and Pelican were at bloodstock, I'd get my ticket just now, fuck the exams.
