He looks damn good in the end.
beautiful man
The look on his face when he has all of the foil on his head is priceless.
Also what does his veteran status have to do with it unless veterans end up in poverty more often than other people?
Aw man, that feeling inside when he saw himself in the mirror

I thought homeless veteran meant that he was homeless for a very long time.

when you draft 2 million men into a pointless war in the arse-end of nowhere to front a terrible political agenda, it becomes difficult to cater for those men 40 years later
but of course they didn't care about that
i guess the reason they focus on his veteran status in this video is because... it's a charity for veterans?
what about his teeth
He has such sad eyes. It's horrible how many soldiers were put through hell and are homeless because life fucked them over.

I know this is gonna go in a bad direction but "life fucked them over" is too simple.
It's the government, societies expectations and upbringing, politics and last but not least their own decisions that were made necessary and influenced by the others that fucked them over.
Mind I'm not saying "the enemy" because I'm speaking about veterans and lets face it, the "enemy" troops have veterans too.

Yeah, but just saying "life" fucks them over sums it up nicely and helps avoid any sort of potential shitstorms.
Glad to hear this guy is turning it around though.

Saying it like that also hides the responsiblility.
what about his teeth
I noticed this instantly because of the way he kept his mouth closed. It's fascinating how clear it is when someone's missing teeth.

There is a disproportionate amount of homeless people who are veterans.
They really did a nice thing.
TAKE MY WALLET. HERE. JUST TAKE IT.

Adding that single word does a lot for the video. I imagined he probably suffered from PTSD after coming home from the war, and to cope he started drinking, which in turn ended up leaving him homeless. I think it makes the viewers sympathize more, even if it's just subconscious.

Vietnam vets and veterans in general have been screwed over when it comes to being integrated back into society. They might not always end up homeless but because there is such little help when they come home they almost always end up fucked up in some way.

because there's a pretty high percentage of homeless war veterans (particularly vietnam vets), and veterans day is coming up in the US.
it's amazing what a little cleaning up does, guy's a good looking dude.
