San Jose police have detained a 15-year-old student Friday morning at Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose after he allegedly made threats to shoot up the school through social media, according to police.
The threats resulted in a temporary lockdown of the campus on Quimby Road, which has since been lifted.
San Jose police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said someone thought they spotted the boy on campus about 9:30 a.m., which prompted an intensive search for him.
He was spotted by police in less than two hours near Tully Road and McLaughlin Avenue, according to San Jose police Sgt. Jason Dwyer. The student was not armed and did not resist officers when they contacted him.
Police are exploring the possibility that the boy has mental health issues, Dwyer said.
Police became aware of the threats on Thursday night and searched the boy's home despite him not being there, Dwyer said. No weapons were found.

The last time this happened was in March 2009 where someone burned a swastika into the ground at ev, cut the trees, anthrax threat, and paranoia of a shooting
After that, many people thought this was just a freshman rumor , but didn't expect the school to go in to lockdown aha.
This school is right up the block from me.
I remember someone taped a sign to my elementary school saying something about a bomb and the school closed for a few days.
Wasn't there a bomb threat in some elementary school in Sunnyvale last week?
There haven't been any bomb threats at any schools near here for a long time. I think people finally got it through their thick fucking skulls that they aren't something to joke about.

Aha
Oh yeah the kid is a anarchist apparently who threatened to shoot up the school
Most likely a mental issue.
