A man who wore a t-shirt saying ”Islam is the devil” could face charges for inciting hatred.
Police stopped the man in a shopping centre in Karlstad, western Sweden on Friday afternoon. They confiscated the t-shirt and filed a report. The crime is being classified as incitement to ethnic hatred, local newspaper Nya Wermlands-Tidningen reports.
Just another day in السويد.

I mean that is a huge dick move and a terrible shirt, but it's just a damn shirt.
Maybe he just wore a misprinted basketball shirt
"I SLAM THE DEVIL"
To be fair, lots of Islamic people tend to have little protests portraying boards saying things like "christianity is evil" "we spit on your troops" "western soldiers are murderers" etc
I don't see why what this man is doing (probably not making a scene either) is considered any different
I love the Swedish caliphate
This is terrible.
Sweden is the definition of too politically correct.
Not as bad as the time a guy in my hometown was slammed with the same charges for comparing a muslim prayer to a goat with a stomach ache on facebook.
Source, its a few months old. Actually it was donkey with a tummyache, but that's irrelevant

There seems to be a bit of double standerds here, if some guy was walking around wearing a shirt that said "Judaism is the devil" you guys would be alright with him being prosecuted for wearing an anti-semitic shirt, but if it's Islam, it's somehow fine?
He shouldn't be able to preach hate, and neither should anyone else. Just get a t-shirt saying "I don't agree with Islam". Then a muslim with a t-shirt saying "I don't agree with infidels" can meet him and they can have an adult discussion.

I think people have the right to wear and say whatever they want without having the law intervene (except for verbal threats), the consequences they face for their actions is what the people recieving the messages respond with.
If someone wears a shirt with a big fat swastika on it, then they just have to accept that people wont talk to them, ban them from their establishments and tell them to fuck off. As much as I hate having to be the devils avocado on this, I really believe in a 100% free speech. (Except for verbal threats but that's a different category)
To be honest I don't see why someone would be arrested for this. Most religions out there say "everyone else is evil except us" so you can't really ban shit like this without pretty much banning religion.

no i think anyone wearing a shirt specifically designed to offend people should get done

We should treat them better than others since that's how they were treated in middle east.
no i think anyone wearing a shirt specifically designed to offend people should get done
Don't be so soft as to words on a shirt to offend you.

Damn kerning!
You can hate anyone you want but if you even think about hating Islam, you are going to jail you fucking scum how dare you?
Swedens moral inquisition strikes again.

I don't give a shit if it offends people I give a shit that people are trying to.
I don't give a shit if it offends people I give a shit that people are trying to.
I see no good reason why he should get charged in any way for that though. Trying to offend people is not illegal and shouldn't be.

Uhh no I wouldn't give a shit either way.
It's a fucking shirt with text on like like jesus fuck how fucking bored do you have to be to care about that

Fuck that, Islam is a barbaric hate filled religion.

People from a different culture behaving inappropriate doesn't give us the right to to the same

He is getting charged be cause of the hate speech laws. People are scared about violence from the Islamic immigrants so they get special treatment.
Sweden. Yes.

I wouldn't. Even though I live in a country where everyone else is, for obvious reasons.
I can't believe this is actually a thing. Moral police? Really?
Fuck, the law shouldn't keep people from being assholes-- that's not its job. If someone wants to be a bigot, they have the right to be one. We shouldn't censor opinions just because someone might get offended.

Which is absolutely retarded. It's like muslims got Sweden by the balls because their government is too much of a pussy.

But if you dont stop someone insulting islam, you might have someone who strapped C4 to themselves run into a busy marketplace.

Hate speech isn't just opinions, it's hate speech. sure, this tshirt might not be the worst example of hate speech in action, but where do you draw the line exactly? I don't find this t-shirt to be acceptable in the slightest, and also the person persecuted will probably only get a fine. Whatever.
This is all marketing for the new Die Hard movie.
