That old guy when getting in the brace position. Absolutely brilliant. You're about to crash in an A320 going 160 miles per hour if the pilot has control, or 400 if not. Place your face against the hardest surface in front of you.
good cringe material
What? It's actually pretty well made in my opinion.
Reminds me of

You really don't know how this works do you?
They really should stop spreading misinformation around that electronics mess with aircraft instruments.
Why can't more airlines do this?
Wow New Zealand really cares about LOTR. Seriously, its like the only thing that ever happened there was LOTR.

Also what the hell is Robert Webb doing there?

Straightening your back and placing your head against the chair in front of you? I'm not the one who doesn't know how it works

placing your face close to it to minimize any possible impact sounds much better than your head being whipped forward into the hard surface, don't you think?
Why can't more airlines do this?
because absolutely NOTHING happens in new zealand so the moment the rest of the world notices something NZ did, NZ goes out full force and rubs it into everyone's face as much as possible.

Same reason why you don't keep a rifle stock a couple of centimeters away from your shoulder before you shoot.
didn't they do bare essentials a while back
aka all flight attendants/cabin crew are wearing bodypaint clothes
I love Bear Grylls.
That was really well done.

For an Airbus, 160 is pretty fucking slow. That's more like "hey guys suddenly we froze in midair and unfroze. Now we're going down".
