how terrible it might be, it might be better then the supposed train wreak star trek discovery.
Looks more like a bad TV movie than a bad TV series
I [sp]thought it looks okay[/sp].
This actually looks bretty good
The show doesn't look like it would have enough content to even be a long-running show.
Actually quite interested to see how this pans out
The show doesn't look like it would have enough content to even be a long-running show.
I think it would be a mini series. I mean look at the budget of the sets and the CGI, hell even the costumes. It looks like it would either be 10 episodes, or a short season (read: 2 months)
galaxy quest with more dick jokes sounds pretty alrite
I'd expect someone like Seth actually getting the ability to do something they've wanted for a while. Like wasn't there a legitimate chance at him getting to produce a new Flintstones or even Star Trek cartoon, Family Guy aside, the dude is fan of both those shows and probably could give them justice, not just parody of sci-fi.
Seth Mcfarlane doing something that's not an animated family sitcom? I'd give it a chance.
Holy shit that amorphous blob is Norm MacDonald! And he's also voice acting as that alien Seth runs into!
If he does make more jokes around Star Trek in his new show, This fine for me.
Looks more like a bad TV movie than a bad TV series
More of a bad fan film.
At least it's not an insult to animation as an artistic medium like his past shows. That's something.
look like crapparooni
Adrianne Palicki? I'm in.
You guys remember when Fox aired Firefly and cancelled it? Yeah, me too. Interesting bit of trivia:
Similar to the original Star Wars trilogy, Orville will rely on models for much of its spacecraft rather than CGI.
It's miles ahead of any of the content he's infamous for, but I still feel like watching this trailer has given me all the enjoyment I could possibly get from the entire series Haha, he's bad at his job! Aliens have weird customs! His ex-wife is there, they argue! So funny! There might be more to it, like characterization and development, but it doesn't really feel like there would be, at all.
I like seth mcfarlane's dumb brand of comedy and don't give two shits about star trek. Sign me the fuck up.
Andre Braugher's in it? I'm in for the pilot. Seth's record has had its up and downs from Ted to A million ways to die in the Old West to...Ted 2. I'm a little skeptic on this one, but I'll watch it if the pilot's good.
how terrible it might be, it might be better then the supposed train wreak star trek discovery.
At least this will fucking come out
I'd watch this show if it didn't have Seth Mcfarlane involved.
it might be better then the supposed train wreak star trek discovery.
We know nothing about the show. Don't judge it yet. [editline]15th May 2017[/editline]
At least this will fucking come out
Discovery is coming out in the fall confirmed by the head of CBS earlier last week, they already have 4 episodes finished. [editline]15th May 2017[/editline] Seth is a big fan of Star Trek, so this really isn't surprising he'd be involved in the parody of one.
Makeup and CGI aliens look pretty nice. That's about it.
this looks like the lowest common denominator garbage ive ever seen HEY THIS IS LIKE THAT THING I KNOW! ALSO POOPOO PEEPEE SEX!
There might be more to it, like characterization and development, but it doesn't really feel like there would be, at all.
It's a Seth MacFarlane creation. Don't expect there to be any.
The first alien they meet is a redneck. This cements it, McFarlane can't write jokes without using stereotypes.
Was that the dude from Legends of Tomorrow at the start?
Its seems like a decent idea, its just a shame its going to be lowbrow humor garbage. Total waste of a good budget and special effects. You can even tell how low they're aiming with the language "We've figured out a way to manipulate the speed of events"
i probably wouldn't watch it, but it looks okay to me
I could see Patrick Stewert having a cameo in this, him and Seth McFarlane are friends. [editline]16th May 2017[/editline]
Was that the dude from Legends of Tomorrow at the start?
Victor Garber [editline]16th May 2017[/editline] Two of the actors in the trailer were also in Star Trek, the actress who played Kassidy Yates in DS9, and the actor who played Julian Bashir's father in DS9
