Steam Guides lets players create and share guides, walkthroughs, and tips for their favorite games or software to help others who might be stuck or who simply want to learn more about the game. Players may easily create guides through Steam, where they may upload images, add screenshots, and embed YouTube videos. Guides are then quickly accessible through Steam, via the Steam Community and in-game via the Steam Overlay.

SOURCE: http://store.steampowered.com/news/9764/

[editline]^_^[/editline] Why the lates? They should have called it, " The Plumbers Manual"
I sort of wish it was in a wiki format of sorts. I don't think any individual guide could ever come close to the depth of wikis such as The Vault or UESPWiki.
They should have called it, " The Plumbers Manual"
I disagree, even if that has a name for the sale of their naming scheme. I think Steam Guides has a great ring to it.

Wiki's generally have a single page on any given part of a game (item, level, etc) that everyone contributes to. This system allows people to upload their own guides without the oversight of others. Now, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I don't know :v: Still, can you imagine the chaos if say, the entire steam community for a game contributed to a wiki? It would look like the community hub pages!

This will be really cool. You'll be able to find guides for mods and stuff on there too because it's all user generated.
Give me clocks if I am late, but will the e-versions of Prima guides start disappearing from Steam now?
