Mouth is too low. It's sposed to be right inbetween the chin and nose.
Makes it look like a fucking alien.
Right eye is a lazy one, it seems.

Weird angles on all sorts of shit all around.

Actually the shoulders are right. She is wearin a uniform where the shoulders are like that, regardles of sex. And stop crying about anime, don't like it, shut up and get out. God!

I really like the hair, but the nose and mouth seem a little out of place.

I think it's pretty cool actually. Plus, I think the mouth is pretty good where it is. Maybe make it look a little less like she's been punched in the cheek though.

I'm gonna agree and say learn to 'draw' first. I began drawing 'anime' figures, and they were horribly pointy and elongated.

Then I started to study other people's more realistic and proportionate work. Today I'd love to do a full on art course and get down to some figure drawing.

On the artwork itself, I'll say the face and eyes have a nice shape, I'm glad the eyes aren't huge and sketchy like you see in 'How to Draw Manga' books. Looks ok.

I'd say the main problem is proportioning the nose and mouth. The nose itself looks like it's just a broad 'v' - don't be afraid to put in the shape of the nostrils! It'll look much better ;)

But then it's anime so what the fuck does it matter. A lame chimp with one eye and four fingers on two left hands could draw anime. That's the bloody point.

Now, that's only the head. I mean most modern anime is relatively anatomically correct from the neck down, and drawing characters in action is hard and takes some degree of skill, but anime faces? Faces are just too easy.

So, in short, it's bland. But it's well executed bland I suppose.
