Today i was walking home from school. I went into a store on the way home to buy me a bottle of coke, on the way out i found something yellow laying in the snow. I bent down to pick it up and it was a iPod Nano 16GB 5th gen. The battery was full and i took it with me home. Luckily it was no scratches or anything on it. Then i saved some money and i got a fully working MP3 player! :buddy:
nice
Try and find the person, they might look for it at the store.
Don't be a douche, I lost mine when I accidentally dropped outside my high school and instead of turning it into the office they took it.
Fuckers
The new one or the older gen?
thats somebodies possession, i hope you feel bad.
Atleast try and find the owner :(

I am going to see if someone has lost it. If i don't find the owner, i'll keep it.

Ask the store you found it in front of to call you if some ask about the MP3 player, but don't go around asking about it or someone will just claim they lost it.
That's great, but not really thread-worthy. Most people I know have found some kind of expensive gadget on the floor because someone has lost it, mostly phones and mp3 players. It's not a rare occurrence.

So you are in norway?
eat it, a mighty feast awaits
Yay free money. If someone is dumb enough to lose something then they will learn a better lesson by not getting it back.
What kind of tunes were on it?

Some trance, hardstyle and rap.
You're a lucky fucker. :colbert:
Do have a cable for it? Maybe you could plug it in and see if the persons name is on it.

They'd probably accuse you of stealing it and get their 'crew' on you if you return it.
Return it.
:smug:

Thats assuming they are 10 years old.
I suggest you do the following, put up a some posters close to where you found it, and say you've found it. Don't reveal anything else than that it's an iPod Nano. Presumably, a lot of people will come up saying it's theirs: Ask them which how much storage space it has, the new or the old one, what music is on it, etc.
If they get a fair percentage right, it's probably theirs.
Of course you can also keep it, but I'd really consider that a dick move, as someone has bought that thing for quite a bit of money (probably).
I found a pink one once, sold it to my friend

Just as you went around the corner, some guy who's crying his eyes out was desperately trying to find his anniversary gift to his girlfriend (for which he saved up for months as he donated his money to help save very ill children). He caught a glimpse of you with a smug smile, clutching his last monetary possession. He tries to catch up with you, pleading, yelling you to notice him. But alas, you strolled on the bus for which he had no money to buy a ticket for. As it drove off he dropped down to his knees and tears fell down onto the snow.
I hope you feel good about yourself OP.
I found a nice cellphone once and I returned it to my school office

I'm using the cable for my sister's iPhone. The name is just "Owner's iPod"

Well thats not creepy at all.
Ask around people to find out who lost it, if they say yes ask "How long have you had it?" and since it's new the correct answer would be "I bought it a few days ago" or something along those lines.

You don't have to necessarily check if they're lying or not with that specific question but just a tip.

I'm assuming it's new since you said it had full battery, no scratches and the name was "Owner's iPod".

You're a bad person and you should feel bad for not handing it into school.
Someone else had worked hard to get the money to finally buy the iPod they've wanted for quite some time. Then they lost it and looked for several days with no luck, included with getting yelled at for losing it
I hope you're happy, asshole
