The Ravalli Republic reports customers who sign up for some Dish Network packages at Radio Shack in Hamilton will be rewarded with a pistol or shotgun. Those not interested in the gun offer can pick a $50 Pizza Hut gift card. Store owner Steve Strand says it took some haggling to get Dish Network Corp. to go along with the promotion, but he says it has tripled his business since it started last October. The sign outside the business reads: "Protect yourself with Dish Network. Sign up now, get free gun." The promotion includes a coupon for a gun and the required background check. Strand says he plans to start the same promotion next month with DIRECTV packages.
Cool, then I can shoot down all the other satellite dishes around and be the only one with one!
... What KIND of gun?
Pistols and shotguns, according to the article.
Guns > Pizza. You can't rob people with a pizza.
Ever tried?
Pizza > Guns. You can't eat guns.
if you don't want the gun then the smart thing to do would be to sell it and then use the money on pizza a gun is going to cost more than $50 assuming they're not handing out saturday night specials :ohdear:
Water guns maybe :engleft:
"Qualifying customers have the choice between a Hi Point 380 pistol or a 20-gauge shotgun." I did more research. There's still a background check, it's just a free gun with the purchase of DirectTV. Although I'm sure those are not equal to the $50 dollar pizza gift card, why's it such a big deal? Stop being so paranoid over guns.
Welp, $117 MSRP. You'd be better off throwing the piece of shit and hoping you hit someone.
Better than no gun AND no tv.
Get satellite dish Take gun Rob Pizza Joint Enjoy life without compromise.
You know, whenever there's this 'free gun' sort of thing, people tend to think it's like you can walk in, buy whatever it is and they just toss you a gun and say "Here you go." There's still background checks, they go through the same process as if someone bought a gun from a reputable dealer. There was a fishing supply store that gave out free rifles if you got some fishing license from them and they even went though the sheriff's office to make sure everyone was cleared to get a firearm. Honestly they probably do more to ensure that they don't give a gun to anyone who shouldn't have one than most people in private sales.

I saw a magazine at my dad's for Cabela's (huge hunting store, like, the size of a Walmart or some shit) and there was an ad that said "Get a chance to win 17 guns!" For some reason, I fucking lol'd, hard.
