Brad Sucks is a one man band, a.k.a. Brad Turcotte. Turcotte promotes his music through sites like Magnatune, ccMixter and MySpace. Instead of having to purchase the music, Brad uses micropatronage, where you can buy the music, donate to him, or just download the mp3s (which are all for download on his site).
Brad Sucks has a nice mixture of rock and alternative elements, techno, and mellow tunes. His music is either very calming, or will put a smile on your face, with lines like "It seems you've mistaken me for someone who cares", and "I have a secret, me and my friends are gonna kill you at recess". Here are my favorites of his songs.
Dirtbag--Very mellow.

Sick as a Dog--Just catchy.

Dropping out of School--A bit more upbeat, and techno-y at parts

Understood by Your Dad--The song that originally got me into Brad Sucks.

I hate making those embeds.
Brad Sucks is a supporter of copyleft, which says that instead of having to get permission to use a song that is solely owned by someone, anyone has the right to use the song for free, and he'd be happy to see how you remix it. Brad Turcotte is just one of those guys that makes the music for the music, and the money is just something on the side.
A really good band to get into if you like mellow, meaningful songs.
He probably has no fans because he sucks. :v:
Fucking love this guy, Dirtbag is a great song.

Hell to the yeah.
I like his ideas about music distribution. After listening to part of Dirtbag, I have to say, the guy has some talent.
I'm liking this. Kinda reminds me of The Prize Fighter Inferno with the electro/acoustic blend, but in a pretty different direction

Yeah. Even on his site, he has a page where he's just promoting remixes of his music. Pretty cool.
I remember getting a album of his, when i got Frostwire, and i gotta admit. I didn't like it. I thought it was to noisy and "confused" if you can say so. It's a long time ago, so i might listen to it again and change my mind!
This guy has some amazing tracks.
He has a free song that comes with Reaper, I loved that song for ages! Then completely forgot about it
Oh hey, I've pretty much loved Brad Sucks' music for a few years now, so hooray he has fans.
I normally stop listening to a lot of music after a while, but for some reason I keep going back to listening to Brad Sucks over and over again, so there's obviously something I really like about his music.
Basically listen to this man now.

Well, I know he has fans. They're not my words, they're Brad's. He's too awesome to not have fans.
