Talkbacks (11) The Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission approved a bill on Sunday that will cut Iran's relations with the UK, reported Iranian Fars News Agency. This vote comes in response to recent statements made by British Ambassador to Teheran Simon Gass in which he criticized the country's human rights record. RELATED: Iran hardliners demand expulsion of UK ambassador UN human rights c'tee expresses 'deep concern' about Iran According to a member of the commission, Mohammad Karami-Raad, "the commission members also condemned the recent remarks made by the British ambassador to Teheran as well as the other hostile moves made by the British government against our country throughout the history," reported Fars. On the British embassy's website Gass posted that lawyers, journalists and activists are nowhere under a greater threat than in Iran. The bill has yet to be submitted to the parliament's presiding board for a final discussion and approval by all members of parliament.
And nothing was lost.
I can't image why Iran is upset with UK in the first place. Maybe it had to do with the US and UK overthrowing their democratic government in 1953. No, it couldn't possibly be that.
Unless they have a valid reason, I do not think this is a wise move to make, based on current circumstances. I mean, to the masses they look bad now.
And nothing was lost.
Oh ho ho ho, you're so cool! Pretending Iran has nothing to offer is just hilarious!
An Iranian offical visited the British embassy and wanted to know why 'the militant attitude towards students was so disgraceful'. The irony.
Ok who do they still have ties to then, the Russian Oligarchs? Lol
And not a single fuck was given.

They treat anyone who doesn't agree with the ruling party like crap, even then you aren't guaranteed good treatment. They arrest hikers on charges of being spies, they stone women for adultery, etc.
At least they're voting?
Oh ho ho ho, you're so cool! Pretending Iran has nothing to offer is just hilarious!
Yeah, if only we would stop caring about human rights we could get along so well!
'Oh no! Diplomatic relations have been severed. Whatever shall we do?' Cry me a river, Iran.
But I like the luxurious persian ties, I'll have to travel elsewhere to buy them now!
UK proving facts on Iran makes Iran angry apparently.
ITT: Fuck Iran herp derrrrppp

I know that dictatorship was overthrown in 1979, but the teachings of the US remains.
Good riddance.

No tea for them! Scounrdels.
I'm from London, and I'm totally ok with this.
You mean that one were rich were filthy rich and the poor were horribly poor?
Yes, this is exactly how the British and Americans wanted Iran to stay, seeing as they decided to destroy a budding democracy over the rights to an oil company they had already lost in the International Court of Justice.

They were trying to steal the property and investments of the Anglo-Persian Oil Company.
At least they're voting?
Not really, the last elections were rigged or so everyone believes.
Meh America will find a reason to invade them, or Israel nukes them or some other shit.
Justice my ass. They were trying to steal the property and investments of the Anglo-Persian Oil Company.
Considering the circumstances in which the agreements were entered, it was nothing less than justice.
Oh ho ho ho, you're so cool! Pretending Iran has nothing to offer is just hilarious!
Question. What DO they have to offer? May I draw your attention to their most cutting edge military hard ware? They got a motherfuckin fleet of these? Iran seems like a serious competitor strategically speaking now.

I know it's great ain't it? Apparently they spent years building and testing them all. Who the fuck is gonna look at those in terror and flee from battle, your average modern soldier will be in tears as he tries to line up a shot from a rapier missile system. Or lines up a shot at distance on the canopy.
