I can't image why Iran is upset with UK in the first place. Maybe it had to do with the US and UK overthrowing their democratic government in 1953. No, it couldn't possibly be that.

This is a valid point, but it doesn't change the fact that Iran is asking for the actions taken against them in the past few years. They treat anyone who doesn't agree with the ruling party like crap, even then you aren't guaranteed good treatment. They arrest hikers on charges of being spies, they stone women for adultery, etc.

I know that dictatorship was overthrown in 1979, but the teachings of the US remains.
