I think I'm not alone in this but I kind of wish topgear didn't bother with their constant supercar things and just did roadtests of bad cheap cars more. It's the random shit they get into that I enjoy. Couldn't care less about a new ferrari or lambo.

Watching James May in a Bugatti pushing it to the max, the Stig loosing control of the Koenigsegg while doing a lap round the track. Those were all gold.

The only time I enjoy supercars in the show is when they go on a road trip. Reviewing them seems really pointless too seeing as most people who watch the show will never actually use said advice to choose what stupidly expensive car to buy.

Both of those feel like special occasions. The Veyron is like a symbol of the engineering and the Segg is different from the normal supercar countries. It's a wildcard.
