It being so long was part of the point of the movie.

It's a movie about excess, so much so that the movie itself is excessive in just about every way.

You know censorship has gone too far when it makes entire movies incomprehensible when applied.

This is why I shell out for uncensored versions of movies and such here rather than watch censored or clipped versions on TV.

Weird but true. Sure there were a few fucks but I never noticed there to be over a hundred of them.

The UAE really does make their censorship glaringly obvious.

And it's so oddly specific, too. They were willing to air an episode of CSI:NY featuring a rotting corpses having all its flesh washed off it's bones (And this was at around lunchtime, I might add.) but have any scene involving a woman in revealing clothing or any episode of The Simpsons featuring Krusty exploring his juadism and expect jump cuts everywhere.
