• Getting in a wreck. (Plus my story and ALWAYS WEAR YOUR GODDAMN SEATBELT)

Hello facepunchers. How many of you have been in wrecks? Not rear ends, but actual wrecks? I am making this thread basted off the experience I just had. In drivers ed, we were driving kind of out in the boonies. I had already driven, so the other student was driving. I was off in my own little world, looking down in the backseat behind the driver when BAM, this bigass truck hits the side of our car and rams us into a ditch. I am scared and confused. My driving instructor is bleeding and the other student is, well, I have no idea. A UPS worker and some cute chicks help us out and we call 911 and our parents. We talk a little, look at the bigass totaled car and watch them take my bleeding driving instructor into the ambulance (He was talking, so I think he's alright) and they take the girl to (her head was hurting, probably from the airbag). My chest is sore, but most likely from the seatbelt. Got a nice bruise too. But yeah, it was scary and it was my first wreck (only two rear ends before) and it is fucking scary. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT. I probably would be in the hospital to if I was on the other side of the backseat. We were all wearing our seatbelt, and we are all alright. So FP, care to share any of your stories?
Someone slightly bumped into the back of my car. I had my seatbelt though so I was safe.
He was just trying to get bonus combo points.
I've ended up with a SUV on my foot because some fat fuck couldn't see past his neck fat to look in his mirror once.
I ranover someone before. Well not so much as ranover someone as much as he rolled up and then down the hood.
Fishtailed my '89 truck down an incline and hit a tree head on. If I didn't have my seat belt, I've been told the impact would have launched me out of the windshield. Makes me sad now that I think about it. Also; to the OP: Crazy that would happen in a driver's ED class. Now that it had time to brew in my brain, there's a pretty large sense of irony in it. Good to hear you got out alright; be sure to go get a massage somewhere. Those help a ton.
Y'know, there are several cases of completely drunk drivers hitting a tree with 50 km/h without wearing their seatbelt. Guess what ? They were so bloody relaxed and soft, that they didn't get injured. The fuck.

Though for some reason, I want to make a crack about how they'd make great pillows in body bags one day.
Some drunk girl fell on my step-dad's car's bonnet.

I've been in a few. Where my family lives (In Mayo Ireland) we live in the arse of nowhere. There are extremely narrow roads, not even the experienced rally driver could drive them with out mistake. About 5-6 months ago. Me and a friend (who lives on a farm over) where starting to drive back to Dublin (to go to college). We hit the worse part of the road which is a very sharp right turn over a crest you. basically you don't know if a car is coming the other way until you go over! Growing up on these roads (we droves tractors and shit at a young age). My friend turned the corner at about 10-20 mph (normal speed for taking the corner. What we didn't realize is that one of the cows escaped the field and was waiting for us just over the crest. As we came over my friend swerved to avoid the cow and unfortunately he swerved to the wrong side and went over the bank down a steep incline. We must have rolled 5-6 times. Luckily we only had minor injuries. Bruises bumps and cuts.
Cute chick eh? Get any pity sex?

I never knew Freddy Scissorhands was hit by a drunk driver...
My dad got smashed by some foreign truck driver once, fuck knows how he managed to survive but he did.

Ya I crashed my 2009 WRX into a goddamn curb. In all honesty I was on wet pavement, with oil, and was turning left. Lost control and slid the damn thing into a curb. $5,000 in damage is phun.
I haven't been personally, but my mum has been. She seems to unintentionally tailgate lorries. :v:
Wow. I was in a car crash when I was 2.

Stop fucking quoting it! But yeah I've been in one when I was about 10 or 11. Me and my mom were driving along and some bastard stops at the intersection too far in. Brix were shat, words were sworn, and we escaped with no injuries.

Also @ OP, sounds heavy man..I've always been afraid of car accidents, hope I never get into one of them. : (
We had a lady come to our school and talk to us about her son was killed because the driver of the car he was in was drunk. Showed pictures of 1 side of the car being slightly damaged. When they showed the other side it turned out the car was cut in half and the rest of the car was gone. They hit a tree at ~130 mph, her son died instantly along with all the other passengers but the driver survived and pleaded not guilty. Don't know how he's going to get away with that Oh, and the rescue helicopter's engine caught fire and crashed at the rescue scene as well
Oh god, that picture scares me.
