TF2 and gmod can no longer peacefully co-exist?

For anyone who has SRCDS you may know what I'm talking about. Anyone notice valve and/or Garry has made it hard to host a GMod and TF2 server in the same folder? I just remembered Garry talking about dangerous engine modifications, then there I was, unable to start up a Gmod Dedicated server without an error message. Then I noticed a few posts are here saying, "Update GMod with -verify_all!" So I did, and it worked. Well, GMod that is. Now my TF2 dedi just crashes. So I'm guessing it's one or the other.

Anyone else notice this?
