This has actually left me a little bit disappointed.

I'm ok with this since the mythos has already established what the dinosaurs looked like, and JP wasn't exactly realistic to begin with.

I'm okay with this. Partially because I haven't learned anything new about dinosaurs since the fourth grade, but also because of the style of the series.

I have waited for a long time for someone to say the books are better than the movies. I still liked the first movie a lot, but Lost World and III already fucked everything up. I'll be surprised if IV is even sort of good. Also who is Colin Trevorrow?!

All of the deeper concepts that Crichton put in the novel that made it worth reading and not some Scholastics sweatshop novel were gone
