It's actually part of the game. Each event has it's own intro. Some are more interesting than others.

If you liked burnout paradise, you will probably like this. Some mechanics are changed, but it's pretty much burnout paradise with licensed cars.
Like the only thing that ties it to Most Wanted is the name and the most wanted list.

That's funny, at first I thought it was a mod. Probably did these intros so you didn't get bored to death playing. I really like that they use loads of cool cars but I just wish they would let you mod the shit out of the cars like in Underground 2.
Something tells me it was a new Burnout game before EA changed the title to get more hype.
