Settlement organisation offers Jews $136 per day to occupy homes taken from Palestinians
The Ir David Foundation, known as Elad, has published an announcement on social media networks in search of Jewish settlers to live in Palestinian homes that it has captured in the town of Silwan, occupied East Jerusalem, in return for a financial reward estimated at 500 shekels ($136) per day, Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Elad is known for its Judaisation projects of the city of Jerusalem. According to the association's advertisement, an amount of 500 shekels will be given to each settler who agrees to live in one of the homes that have been seized, with the settler only required to "keep his gun loaded and ready to fire at any time", according to the declaration.
Poor persecuted Israel :( Doing literally nothing wrong and they got rockets fired at them!
1000 shekels and I can have as many Palestinian room mates as I want and it's a deal.
Do you have the actual Haaretz article referenced in the one you linked? I can't seem to find it.
All I can find is this article, but it says that the settlers got the buildings through a real estate deal, not by taking by force. (http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/.premium-1.619025) It's also behind a pay wall. So it's difficult to get the whole story. At a minimum that article you linked isn't telling the whole story.
EDIT:
So I was able to access the whole article and it seems that the settlers bought the property through normal and legal means.

You know those pesky Arabs, always selling their homes and then saying they didn't sell them in the first place. Jewish settlers have a history of forging their "real estate deals", case in point

Step one: Accept the deal
Step two: Claim 500 shekels
Step three: Rent living back to Palestinians
Step four: Claim even more shekels

its temporary, they "guard" the homes until the settlers arrive.

Do you have any proof of that claim? The article I linked says that they bought it through legal means. Past fraudulent deals is not evidence of a current fraudulent deal. The group in the article you linked isn't even the same group that made this purchase. Interesting that you look at all Jews as if they are of one mind.

According to the same article I linked the area is currently very dangerous to Jews in the area. They have stones/firecrackers/etc. thrown at them daily.
Wow, I wish I could get $136 a day to sit on my ass in a nice (recently stolen) house. I've never made $136 a day doing anything.

With a gun!
Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Morally reprehensible, but pretty good nonetheless.
-nevermind, i'm a moron.-
oy vey, that's a great deal.
wow, they make almost as much in a day as i do just to live in a house

I doubt that Hamas is at all concerned with the well-being of those living in the West Bank. They clearly don't care about their own in Gaza.
I am fairly sure that Hamas primary objective was not to kill jews with rockets but to raise global awareness about Israeli brutality , and I think Israel walked into that trap. Here is hoping that the example set by Sweden recently will be followed by other global powers in the west

Hamas' charter explicit calls for the destruction of Jews, Hamas only raised awareness of its blatant endorsement of human shields, and Hamas is an entirely deplorable organization. I see Sweden trying to show solidarity to the Palestinian people, and not at all to Hamas.
