A good amount of criminals, think about it, most people are going to be at work, as opposed to at night where they're almost guaranteed to be at home asleep.

They may not remember it 'consciously' but they are going to have some kind of memory about the traumatic event. Doesn't mean they forget what happened.

Great that the robber didn't have anything hiding his appearance and face, hopefully making tracking him down easier. I hope they find him soon, no one should get away with stuff like this, especially after he beat the daughters mother in front of a kid.

You really think someone will forget something like seeing their mother get injured by someone, especially at a young age? Young kids can remember some things easily, they may not remember it well, but they can remember the image of their mother after she got harmed by the intruder, and even remember the intruder and what he looked like.
