Thinking of taking adderall to do better in school - General

Just be careful. Adderall is an amphetamine as far as I'm aware and kicking an Amphetamine addiction is tough. I know you say you'll take it in moderation but y'know, just be safe. I took about 40mg for a couple days to see if it helped my concentration. It just basically silenced my inner voice for a while and gave me an uncomfortable feeling.. I plan on taking more recreational doses next time though.

Oh god, I fucking love Adderall. 30mg XR is somewhere between performance-enhancing and recreational for me.

Adderall is pretty fun. I like taking about 40mg and staying up all night talking to people and playing video games.

I'm strangely insensitive to stimulants. It just clears my mind.

Adderall blows, at least for me it does, all it does is slow me down and turn me into a zombie that doesnt eat or think well.

I've not taken Adderall but my buddy in my hall has, he usually does when finals are approaching. He spends the whole day studying computer engineering and never gets bored of it. Then he does great on the tests.

I, for one, strongly advise you against using uppers/stimulants to get ahead in class. I don't have any specific reason other than my own avoidance of uppers in general, but think about this: Do you want to be a pill popper?

Tests come around maybe once every two weeks.

Many people already use very known stimulant for enhancing work/learnin : Coffe. But coffe has this jittery side effect and other side effects that in the end just make you confused. Amphetamine is very better,stronger,more clear headed stimulant, VERY suit for learning. Oral dose of 8-10mg is enough for learning. But, just use it for heavy-cases or to learn lot's of stuff at once. Don't let stimulants take over your "sober-learning". And, I think it's better to use amphetamine for learning, because that way you will have that knowledge stored in yourself for long long time. But, as I told, just use it where it's needed.

im going on tuesday to see if i can get an adderall script, i have 18 symptoms that all relate to add/adhd so i wrote them down and hopefully the doc can help me out

Thanks for the input guys. I just got two 10mg pills of adderall. I plan to use it later in the week for my AP tests. Like I said, I plan to use it only in heavy moderation, I'm not going to take it until next year when exams start.

I took an 50mg Adderall extended release before the ACT test. I was in the fucking zone, I didn't bite my nails or get distracted by the girl tapping her pen or the flickering lights at all. I felt like it was the easiest thing I'd ever done and I ended up getting a 32 on it. But obviously I know that isn't entirely the amphetamine making me do that. If you're not smart already it won't help. You can't polish a turd...

Unfortunately, I live life in a very thick fog. My sleep apnea leaves me cloudy and unmotivated. When I'm on Adderall, I'm a fucking god.

so i went to the doc and said i think i have adhd and he prescribed me concerta instead of adderall fack

I took concerta for a while, but then switched to ritalin. Concerta's a bitch. Shit makes me depressed and I can't sleep/eat. Ritalin is a little bit better, but been taking it for so long that my tolerance is very high. I need about 5 pills before I actually feel something. shit fucks with your heart though, damn.

meh, i got the 54mg pills which is the highest they can give me. Apparently you can still extract the methylphenidate (active ingredient in ritalin) by cutting off the extended release outer shell still would have preferred some dextroamphetamine

jup still got some 54 mg concerta laying around ye, but what do you mean with cutting off the extended realease outer shell? the capsule thing part covering the powder? (in concerta's case) ritalin is just compressed.

The methyphenidate is inside and comes out of a small laser-made hole on the bottom of the pill. You have to cut off the outer layer and inner plastic layer to extract the methphenidate (that's assuming you want to use it recreationally)

are you talking about ritalin or concerta now? because both of them don't have any plastic here. they aren't even capsules (concerta is capsule shaped, but isnt one.)

The outer layer is brown and like a gel, and the inner layer is plsatic (and i know for a fact it's there because i just removed it with a razor blade). I then got to the white and pink powder and parachuted it.
