You can actually "doctor" a lighter to get a flame quite a bit bigger than the first change.

There is a way to really make make flame around 5 times bigger on a lighter (you have to remove the metal cover and move around the "flame regulator" more than it should be possible), but this was fake.

You can adjust some lighters, but it is done differently and nothing like that obviously.

Even if you turn up the gas nozzle and get the flame really big, after around 10 "turn ups" the lighter will start spilling gas without the button even pushed down leaving you with an empty lighter rather quickly. Also the gas wouldn't even ignite for me often enough after turning it way up.

Man, I also loved how those blood effects sprayed on the wall realistically when he shot that guy.
