It IS all opinion but I just think they are really overrated. They were good, but a lot of there songs were shit. Lets take a vote.

I really enjoy the Beatles
something doesn't have to be "THE BEST" to be good. I'm not sure if I would call them the best ever, but certainly one of them.
If you dont enjoy the beatles then dont call them overrated. Same with other good bands.

I think people need to understand that the reason why people were going so crazy about the Beatles back in the day was because that's all there really was for that type of pop/rock mix music. A lot of that hype doesn't exist anymore.
Like them or not though they have been one of, if not the most influential band.
i love the beatles and i love metal, especially their experimental period. theyre earlier stuff isn't bad either but i don't love it. i wouldnt say they're the best band but they're way better than alright.

What annoys me even more are the fans, especially the influx of 13 year olds who like them because they got a rock band game.

I've listened to the beatles. I dislike it. It isn't enjoyable to me. Sure, they helped a genre to grow, but... That doesn't make them the best at it, it doesn't make them the most enjoyable band, or the best band, and it certainly doesn't make me love them.
I don't like them, but I'll admit they're influential.

Because a lot of people act like they're single handedly responsible for the rock genre and that they're incredibly original and many other things.

I don't get why everybody here is hating the Beatles for some reason. If it's because they get too much attention, then it's not a reason to say they suck. I don't like all of their music, some of it took a while for me to appreciate, they don't have the deepest lyrics in the world, but they made some pretty catchy tunes.
