The news comes amidst Google’s so-called "Wi-Spy" scandal, that refers to revelations that Google’s Street View cars operating in some thirty countries snooped on private Wi-Fi networks over the last three years. 1. The biggest intelligence agency in the world
2. the biggest search engine in the world, that happens to be infamous for saving personal info of its users in the past

Agreed, this is fucking creepy. The future is looking a little too 1984.

I just read the Foundation series earlier and this reminds me way too much about it. :v:
I don't really see that much wrong with this, As long as they don't use it to alter anything currently online and be very careful with how they react because of the information its fine.
They're not going to steal website accounts/passwords and they're monitoring things at a mass level, Instead of going one by one at least thats how I see it.
