The decision to cancel the debate followed Donald Trump's announcement on "FOX & Friends" that he would not be appearing. Instead, he said he would be appearing at a pro-Israel group's event on Monday night. Trump dropping out led John Kasich to indicate he would not be appearing at Monday's debate.
http://fox13now.com/2016/03/16/gop-presidential-primary-debate-scheduled-for-next-week-has-been-canceled/
These "debates" exist solely to give Trump people to bully. They won't even host them without him, lmao.
With Rubio now out of the race it would be kind of weird to watch just Cruz and Kasich go at each other for over an hour.
He's the front-runner and it'd be stupid for them to host it without him. It'd be a battle of establishment dudes that will just shit talk Trump the whole time.
With Trump not going and Rubiout, it'd be weird to just have two people up there on stage. Still a little dissapointing though- do we know when the next one would take place, or are we on the road to the convention soon?
Trump probably made the choice to not do it because this is the only way either candidate gets any screentime, the media talked about Rubio "possibly busting out as the front runner" all the time but barely talked about what he had to say, that is until he implied Donald had a tiny dong because of his hands. Trump is big because he's playing the media so hard and denying the other GOP guys any screentime by constantly saying and doing controversial things. This denies them crucial screen time that they absolutely need to sway people

If Trump doesn't attend the Republican debate, it'd just be Cruz arguing with Kasich, who isn't even in the run.
No, they won't host it because Kasich dropped out of it too and that would leave just Cruz and you can't have a debate with one person.
Cruz could pull that off, you know.
No, they won't host it because Kasich dropped out of it too and that would leave just Cruz and you can't have a debate with one person.
But isn't that Cruz's favorite kind of debate?
But isn't that Cruz's favorite kind of debate?
Cruz isn't a good talker, he muddles and fumbles around too much. He may have good ideas off camera but in debates he is a mess. Donald would just have something hosted and planned for the same time and more people would tune into that instead of see Cruz do nothing but talk to himself.
Kind of wondering what Kasich hopes to gain by staying in the running when he would almost need a miracle in order to make up for the delegate count. I could maybe see him thinking he could win Pennsylvania but I'm not sure what he plans past that.

He was the best shot that the GOP had for a contested convention.
