He definitely has a uniquely high brow tone for someone that you could argue frames himself as a retro reviewer. I think the new generation of people coming out after guys like Completionist, ProJared and Caddicarus and that lot are definitely interesting. Like watch something by Nitro Rad, at first it's just like "oh he's one of the guys doing that normal boots thing, it's ok I guess" then all of a sudden he's integrating game design concepts and actual criticism into the conversation and it's great. I'm really liking it since at least for me the Completionist kind of shtick has kind of died, it's just been going on for long enough to feel sort of empty.
