can't go wrong with gaki no tsukai
Gotta love japanese game shows.
It's not a game show
It's not a game show
care to elaborate...?
The subbing for the teachers one is going really slow [editline]27th February 2013[/editline] How does Hamada win for doing the three step jump in 6 steps :v:
I can only wish western TV was this good Do they not have HD TV in japan, though? Or is this show old?
The subbing for the teachers one is going really slow
Lies, theres already a couple of parts out. But if youre waiting for everything, I dont know if its all subbed yet http://gntteam.blogspot.de/2013/01/part-1-it-has-begon.html
Love japan... really goofy, awkward, very playful and fun but insanely weird in all the biggest ways :U

These shows are fucking crazy.
care to elaborate...?
A game show is a show where people play games usually to win prizes. The people in the video are famous Japanese comedians who are doing this purely for entertainment. It's a game show because they're playing games, but it's not a game show since they're not playing for prizes. It really depends on your definition of game show.
Why have these not caught on outside of Japan. Oh yeah, they tried with Hole in the Wall and all value was lost in the westernization.
This show gets better the more you watch and get to know the main guys. The Bald one, Matsumoto, has the best fucking laugh ever.
care to elaborate...?
They're called variety shows. They do different stuff every week, sometimes competitive, sometimes not. [editline]28th February 2013[/editline]
Why have these not caught on outside of Japan. Oh yeah, they tried with Hole in the Wall and all value was lost in the westernization.
They took one segment of a show and tried to make a full show around it. Dumb. Also in the US there are higher viewership thresholds for a show to be successful. Also, many times with these adaptations they miss the core element that makes the show good: a consistent cast of comedians rather than just fucking whoevers.
