Yes this is how chans look like
One minute into the video and I've seen: "mucho autismo" "/advice/" "epic win" I can't go any further. I know this word gets overused, but I can't describe this as anything other than cringey.
christ
My god this video is like the very definition of "out of touch with reality"
Only posers go on /advice/ Real dudes go on redchan.it
Only posers go on /advice/ Real dudes go on redchan.it
Naw man, /r/theredpill is the place to go /s
I see buzzfeed is trying to stay relevant, their quizzes could only last them so long.
My god this video is like the very definition of "out of touch with reality"
That should be Buzzfeed's slogan, really.
people I've met who post on chans were alpha males, including the women.
LULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZLULZ
:what: Too bad the comments don't load in the archive. I don't want to give them a view on this.
people I've met who post on chans were alpha males, including the women.
especially the women
did noone look at this and go "hmmm, are we just making fun of autistic people here? maybe we should rethink it" like i get the whole "generate hate/etc to get people to watch our shit" but god damn
It's okay because he is a 4chan poster and a white male with some kind of social disorder, you're allowed to make fun of these kind of people according to buzzfeed
Let's see, nope can't find this on the list of videos that needed to be made.
Yeah man, lets make fun of guys who are already miserable! Fucking autistic beta nerd! Yeah lets keep perpetuating stereotypes! Men should be "ALPHA", super confident, extroverted, outgoing. But it's okay for girls to be socially awkward, self concious, introverted, have social anxiety, etc
BuzzFeed really manages to hit a new low every few weeks. That's actually kinda impressive, in a sad way.
I am surprised that Buzzfeed can keep on pulling shit like this and somehow not lose advertisers. They keep outdoing themselves in how terrible they are.
so we bashing on people who have anxiety and are autistic now, what the fuck
did noone look at this and go "hmmm, are we just making fun of autistic people here? maybe we should rethink it" like i get the whole "generate hate/etc to get people to watch our shit" but god damn
I keep seeing people say how this is making fun of autistic people, but I don't know where it was making fun of an autistic person. Was the guy autistic? Was he saying that the girl he found online was autistic? I thought he was just saying he was bad at dates by saying he was autistic, non-literally.
Jesus fucking Christ. That was creepy as shit
How was that dude autistic? Just a shut in type with no real social skills.
i don't get the point of this video are they promoting being an alpha male? are awkward people in need of mocking? are social disorders to be shamed? if you're awkward you're automatically some gross pathetic troll? what is going on ?
I'm really confused as to what the video's even trying to convey Is it literally just making fun of socially awkward men?
i don't get the point of this video are they promoting being an alpha male? are awkward people in need of mocking? are social disorders to be shamed? what is going on ?
I'm pretty sure their intention was to shit on the type of dudes that think women belong to them, and hate on/blame women for all their problems. They just missed the mark a LOT, and ended up insulting a number of different groups of people. An example of what I imagine they were trying to go after, are the type of people that browse /r/incels on reddit.

What a really unfunny video.
its like theyre saying people who have social problems or disorders (and jerk off to anime??) are on a slippery slope to becoming meninists or something. like instead of saying 'this is how incels are made haha!' shouldnt we be trying to help people with anxiety who feel they dont fit in, rather than making fun of them? mockery seems like a good way to make their bizarre prophecy come true?? and if he's jerking off in the toilet at work isn't that indicative of an addiction? are we making fun of that now too

An example of what I imagine they were trying to go after, are the type of people that browse /r/incels on reddit.
I think the video is actually about the cycle of hate that a lot of young men go through today. It took watching the video a few times (which was extremely painful to do, :vs:), but I think the video is actually about everyone else. It starts innocently enough, with a socially awkward young man who doesn't really "fit" with the alpha male archetype. He's lonely, awkward around women, and ultimately, lost. That's something a lot of people go through. So where does he turn? Not to friends, who are shown making fun of his awkwardness and insecurity, but to the Internet, where he is met with a wall of cynicism. At first, he mostly ignores the cynicism, and tries to make the best out of life. But no matter what he does, things go wrong for him, driving him back to the Internet and that wall of cynicism again and again, until he eventually breaks and he himself becomes a cynic - just another "LULZ" in the wall of "LULZ" that are responding to innocent, awkward, lost young men looking for direction, like he himself was once met with. I think what this video is trying to say is that "we" are responsible for propagating this cynical culture of young men, where "we" refers to the general demographic of people - those who make fun of socially awkward people, like the "friend" who breaks in and records the guy masturbating at the very beginning of the video. The video just failed to really clearly set up that is what it was going for.
Managed to get through whole thing. At first I was thinking this wasn't so bad but it takes a real turn for the worst at around 5 mins
Could someone reupload this? I don't want to give them my views. But if no one can, I'll just have to shut up and watch it on their channel.
