Mind you i'm in a freshman in high school. About a few 2 months ago i wrote an essay for a chance to win a scholarship, the night before it was due (i had a month to work on it). The next day i handed it and thought it was complete crap. The next month a college called Hofstra University on long island,which I live on, sent me a letter saying that i won the third place scholarship, out of every school on the island,which included freshmen, sophomores and juniors. They invited me to the college and handed me one of those big checks one gets from a lotto.
