http://discovermagazine.com/ One of the most interesting science magazines I've ever read. Online articles are very easy to understand even if you have little knowledge of the subject matter. If you want to learn more about science and not get bored as fuck of it, then this is the way to go. The subscription magazines are a lot better but the online archive has great articles too. I used to hate anything that was about biology or physics but now I find it interesting. EDIT: I just realized it sounds like I'm advertising, it's not, just read it for yourselves.
I usually borrow a few when I go to the library. They're pretty good, I also enjoy Popular Mechanics.
I prefer Popular Science, to be honest.
I get to read Discover for free at my school library.
Discover is the shit, they do a great job of making things understandable to your average reader. Or, average person that reads Discover, anyway. I like Popular Science, but really they promise batshit awesome stuff every issue but none of it seems to actually happen.
