tldr; marketer blames it all on you.
Massively overdramatic. They also overlooked the idea that I just don't care where my meat comes from because it doesn't matter. The animal is already dead and I'm hungry.
Is this staged by PETA Fuck PETA
Everything matters.
No it doesn't. Human survival come before animal rights. Simple.
No it doesn't. Human survival come before animal rights. Simple.
Which is why the fact that this kind of farming is dangerous to the lives of the people eating the food is a bad thing.
Everything matters.
It doesn't though because ultimately both the animal and myself are going to die one day. Circle of life and whatnot.
Who the fuck cares?
Who the fuck cares?
Ignorance breeds from indifference.
No it doesn't. Human survival come before animal rights. Simple.
Learn how antibiotics work and how rapidly we're screwing ourselves over by feeding it to animals like sweets, then ask yourself if this particular money-saving method is really key to our survival Within 10-20 years, all our antibiotics will be useless as certain bacteria strains become resistant. That means in 10 years, if you get a cut and it becomes infected, you may well die. There are alternatives to farming like this. Ones which don't end up killing us, and you still get to eat your damn burger

[editline]5th June 2014[/editline]
It doesn't though because ultimately both the animal and myself are going to die one day. Circle of life and whatnot.
Living a life of suffering and abuse isn't exactly the natural order and the circle of life. It's not about the killing of animals, that's sort of necessary for world food supplies; (arguably) it's about the treatment of the animals prior to death. You'd be more apt to feel disgusted if the animals were dogs or cats. It's like arguing that putting cats in trashcans and hitting them "doesn't matter" because they're all going to die anyway. It's just a silly argument that relies on either ignoring the poor treatment of farm animals, or having a double standard in which "cute" animals don't deserve pain but ugly ones you want to eat do. (even if the horrible conditions are only detrimental to the quality of the food, and aren't necessary in getting that food to your plate) [editline]5th June 2014[/editline]
No it doesn't. Human survival come before animal rights. Simple.
You don't have to abuse animals to keep the human species alive, you have to abuse them to keep things as economical as possible so large food chains like ConAgra, Monsanto, and Ralcorp stay in control of the agriculture industry, and thus the food industry.

In the grand scheme of things it changes nothing. It's not my complacency or laziness, it just makes absolutely zero difference to my life. And what's with that dogs and cats assumption? Again, it's a case of my not caring. I know those "cute" animals are eaten in parts of the world, I'm not making movements to stop that, pal.
